Grange Park sees the child at the centre of its concerns for a healthy, just and sustainable society. It is a place where each child can be healthy, stay safe, enjoy and achieve, make a positive contribution and achieve economic well-being – all within the Earth’s environmental limits.

Grange Park aims to integrate sustainable development and outdoor learning into our development plans and ensure that resources and training are available to support it. We aim to give all children the opportunity to learn about and take an active part in promoting sustainability within the school and beyond, through membership of school parliament, Eco councils and other groups. We aim to give all children the opportunity to put their understanding of local issues into a global context, so that they see how their decisions can have an impact on others now and in the future. Our goal of sustainable development is to enable all people throughout the world to satisfy their basic needs and enjoy a better quality of life, without compromising the quality of life of future generations. Grange Park should demonstrate ways of living that are models of good practice for its children and their communities.
