A fully armed hesir introduced us to the Vikings’ explorations around the world, the countries they travelled to and raided, and what daily life was like for them. We explored all of the Viking artifacts including helmets, mails and shields. After this handling session, we prepared for our raid, and later invasion of Saxon England.
