The Lonely Beast in Year 2
Year 2 has spent the first few days of school settling in, completing class projects and participating in drama based activities in our English lessons.
We have begun exploring the journey tale ‘The Lonely Beast.’ We have been observing key images from the text to make inferences on what we can see, what we think the story could be about and what we think the main character is doing. We have also been using our Talk 4 Writing skills to orally rehearse the text with actions and expressions. We are pleased to see how excited the children have been!
