We arrived safely at Gilwell close to 10 am and were greeted by beautiful sunshine which quickly turned to thick, black clouds. The children have been in exceptionally good spirits, taking on the challenges of team work, good communication and most important of all, the ability to touch something muddy without feeling sick!  We have all been so impressed with the children’s behaviour and acts of kindness they have demonstrated towards each other and the staff.  Bring on tomorrow! Let’s hope there is less rain and more sunshine!
