We have recapped key skills in maths, written poetry, started off our history unit on the Vikings and Anglo Saxons, begun to investigate Buddhism and challenged ourselves in gymnastics.

However, it has been the children’s enthusiasm to become scientists that has really impressed us. The children started off by predicting and investigating the impact gravity has on objects of different masses, and have since designed and carried out their own experiment to determine the impact surface area has on harnessing air resistance. 

It is very exciting to think how far we can take the children with their science learning this year.
