They are beginning to make new friends and relationships with their peers and adults in the setting and some have even reignited past relationships, which has been lovely to see! Our focus the last two weeks has been to settle the children, getting them used to following rules and routines as well as taking part in teacher led sessions and focus activities. 

We are starting this term with our learning quest “All about me” which focuses on us looking at all of the features which make us wonderful individuals, either by background, culture, traditions and ethnicities, as well as looking at our past, how we have changed over time and what is yet to come! This is a brilliant foundation for everyone to get to know each other better, as well as secure the children’s knowledge of how special they are as individuals.
