We are very proud of their resilience throughout these unprecedented times and they continue to work hard. They have been enjoying learning about the structure behind pop up books as part of our Design and Technology topic. We have explored levers and linkages and looked at how to create a working pop up page with our chosen Greek God/Goddess and mythical creatures. 

When exploring pop up books, the children had a look at a variety of different stories and genres to help them achieve their final product. The children planned their design and created prototypes before creating their final product. The pop up page portrays a story from a specific moment in Ancient Greek mythology. This half term, in English, we will be studying The Iron Man and the children will eventually be writing their own beating the monster story.
